Wizards
The Wizards Menu includes a list of tasks where GedSite guides you through a series of steps to modify the configuration of your site. The wizards are essentially shortcuts and do not expose all the features for the task at hand, but after using a wizard you can edit any items that the wizard creates.
Step-by-Step: Adding a Descendant Chart
Use the Wizards > Add Descendant Chart command to let the wizard guide you through adding a descendant chart to your site. You set the starting person, the title of the page that holds the chart, and choose a chart type, either a Box Descendant Chart or Indented Descendant Chart.
Step-by-Step: Add an Interactive Pedigree Chart
Use the Wizards > Add Interactive Pedigree Chart command to let the wizard guide you through adding an Interactive Pedigree Chart to your site, including both the Interactive Pedigree Chart User Item and a Pedigree Link Person Entry Item.
This Wizard will not add an Interactive Pedigree Chart if there is already an existing Interactive Pedigree Chart in the User Items list.
Step-by-Step: Add a Pedigree Chart
Use the Wizards > Add Pedigree Chart command to let the wizard guide you through adding a pedigree chart to your site. You set the starting person, the title of the page that holds the chart, and choose a chart type, either a Box Pedigree Chart or Indented Pedigree Chart.
Step-by-Step: Add a Link to the Menubar
Use the Wizards > Add Menubar Link command to let the wizard guide you through adding a link to the menubar of your site. You enter the title of the link and the URL.
Step-by-Step: Add a List of Ancestors
Use the Wizards > Add Add List of People (Ancestors) command to let the wizard guide you through adding a List of People to your site that includes the ancestors of a person you choose.
Step-by-Step: Add a List of Descendants
Use the Wizards > Add Add List of People (Descendants) command to let the wizard guide you through adding a List of People to your site that includes the descendants of a person you choose.
