Tag Date Restriction

Use the Tag Date Restriction term to filter tags based on characteristics of their Date value. Returns true if the tag's Date matches the characteristics enabled in the properties described below.

For each characteristic, if the checkbox is checked, a date with that characteristic will pass the filter. If the property's checkbox is not checked, a date with that characteristic will not pass the filter.

As configured above, the Tag Date Restriction term will match tags with regular dates that have one of the Estimated, About, Circa, or Say modifiers.

Regular dates—dates with year, year and month, or year, month and day parts—must meet both a requirement in the Depth Properties subsection and a requirement in the Modifier Properties subsection.

Presence Properties

• If Empty is checked, events with an empty date will pass the filter. The Depth Properties and Modifier Properties are ignored for empty dates.
• If Text is checked, events with a text value—a value that is not a recognizable date with year, year month, or year, month and day parts—will pass the filter. The Depth Properties and Modifier Properties are ignored for text dates.
• If Regular is checked, events with a regular value—a date with year, year and month, or year, month and day parts—will pass the filter but the regular date must also meet the requirments of the properties in the Depth Properties and Modifier Properties subsections.

Depth Properties

The Depth Properties restrict dates based on whether the year, month, and day properties are included in the value. If the Regular characteristic is not checked, the Depth Properties are disabled.

• If Year is checked, events with a regular date value of a year only will pass the filter.
• If Year and Month is checked, events with a regular date value of a year and month only will pass the filter.
• If Year, Month, and Day is checked, events with a regular date value of a year, month, and day will pass the filter.

For Between/And, Either/Or, and From/To dates, both dates must be the same depth or the date will not meet any of the Depth Property requirements.

Modifier Properties

The Modifier Properties restrict dates based on which modifier, if any, is included in the value. If the Regular characteristic is not checked, the Modifier Properties are disabled.

Most programs suppport a subset of the modifiers listed below.

• If Before is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Before" modifier will pass the filter.
• If To is checked, events with a regular date value and the "To" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Estimated is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Estimated" modifier will pass the filter.
• If About is checked, events with a regular date value and the "About" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Circa is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Circa" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Say is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Say" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Calculated is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Calculated" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Interpreted is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Interpreted" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Unmodified is checked, events with a regular date value and no modifier will pass the filter.
• If After is checked, events with a regular date value and the "After" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Between/And is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Between date1 And date2" modifier will pass the filter.
• If Either/Or is checked, events with a regular date value and the "Either date1 Or date2" modifier will pass the filter.
• If From/To is checked, events with a regular date value and the "From date1 To date2" modifier will pass the filter.
